Which is Better? to be HUNTED or HAUNTED???

None would be the ideal answer but seriously if you had to pick one what would be your choice…? To make it more less complex… usually you are hunted by animals or humans in most situations and haunted by ghosts… (by humans too at certain times) if you had a chance to sleep in a 160+ year old bungalow in an extremely haunted looking room with an old machine, a cupboard full of old female cloths and a weird looking scary bathroom will you sleep in? Oh did I say that the door cannot be locked… To make things more exciting the hotel manager, the owner and other workers continuously kept on saying that the house is haunted and you hear the toilet flushing by itself at midnight… and people walking down stairs… and the knockings on doors…

I don’t know what made me agree to sleep in it, maybe I don’t need more proof for my stupidity… Somehow ended up sleeping in it (well never slept actually) I was never a person who really believed in ghosts and every bit of my mind was telling me it’s a LIE but my heart didn’t wanna listen… It’s a known fact (a very well known fact) that gail giggles loudly when she is freaked out… But for some reason that night, her giggling made me feel very comforted :P Might have also been the extremely loud music we played so that we’d never hear the toilet flushing… And when we heard the song “girls just wanna have fun” we both felt extremely stupid (not that we felt it for the first time that day) for listening to an extremely opp song which described our feelings… Its pathetic to hear your friend singing off key loudly when you shower so that you feel oddly comfortable to know that she is just beside the door… (this applies for Gail more than me; since she is a better singer than me)

It was funny at 6pm… it was even funny at 7pm… by 8pm it wasn’t really funny… by 9pm well… didn’t know what to think… by 10pm we were getting worried… by 11pm we decide to go sleep with loud music and all possible lights on… by 11.20pm we are getting freaked out… by 11.40pm we are too freaked out to keep giggling so we decide to call our very dearest friend “kicha” and he decides not to pick the phone (conveniently)… so by 11.52pm we think of sleeping outside and go out… by 12.45 we feel too sleepy so we decide to go and sleep in a camping tent… No person in sight, no torch (only the phone light) we go to the only available tent to sleep with all of the dogs (there were 3) coming beside us… We open it to see someone sleeping… so without closing it back we ran to the other end giving the dogs a chance to peep in… (he must be cursing still coz im sure atleast one dog licked his face)

After about an hour we decide we are too sleepy to get freaked out so we went in… I was carrying the smallest dog inside… who yelped in a very weird way (which confirmed that there should be some ghost in it) and jumped out of my hands and ran away…. Somehow we slept… although I kept on waking up every 10 minutes… the next morning everybody who convinced us about the sounds said it’s a LIE… I still don’t believe it… coz there was NO reason NOT to think that the place is NOT haunted… its had every bit of “HAUNTED” written all over it….

I was thinking a lot that night… yes and the thought also included how stupid I could be… and I was also wondering why we were afraid of ghosts and not of all unknown people who were in that site… (only two of us were there with 70+ strangers) and somehow we were feeling comfortable that the door is unlocked… Its weird coz if it wasnt for the fear of being haunted we would have locked every possible door to protect ourselves from unknown humans… So does it mean we prefer being hunted (not really hunted: atleast robbed) than being haunted? Do we really think that ghosts are capable than people? (if they exist) Obviously not right?
